Who We Are

This website provides a free library of FL Studio drum kits, MIDI patterns and project templates for Windows users. References to "we", "us" or "our" mean the operator of this site. For data protection purposes, we are the data controller. Questions about how your data is handled can be directed to the address in the Contact section below.

What Information We Collect

We collect minimal information. Depending on how you use this site, we may process:

• Usage data — pages visited, time on page, referring URL, browser type and operating system. This is collected automatically by our hosting provider and any analytics service we use. It does not identify you personally.
• Download requests — when you click a download button, your browser connects to the file server. The server logs your IP address, the timestamp and the file requested. This log data is used for security and capacity planning only.
• Contact messages — if you contact us by email, we store your email address and message content in order to respond to you.

We do not collect your name, postal address, payment details or any special-category personal data unless you voluntarily provide them.

Legal Basis for Processing (UK GDPR)

Under Article 6 of UK GDPR, we rely on the following lawful bases:

• Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — for server log data and aggregate analytics, to operate the site securely and improve performance.
• Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — for any non-essential cookies or third-party analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time by adjusting your cookie preferences.
• Contract performance (Article 6(1)(b)) — when you contact us with a support request, we process your message in order to respond.

Cookies and Tracking

International Transfers

If any service we use transfers data outside the UK, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place — such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), standard contractual clauses approved by the ICO, or an adequacy decision covering the destination country. We do not transfer personal data to countries without such protections in place.

Data Retention

• Server access logs: retained for up to 30 days for security purposes, then deleted.
• Analytics data: retained in aggregate form for up to 26 months, then deleted or anonymised.
• Contact messages: retained for as long as necessary to resolve your query, then deleted within 12 months.

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

• Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you (a Subject Access Request). We will respond within one calendar month.
• Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your personal data where there is no lawful reason to keep it.
• Right to restriction — you can ask us to pause processing your data in certain circumstances.
• Right to data portability — where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out automatically, you can request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will stop unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your rights.
• Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Right to Complain

If you believe we have handled your personal data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the opportunity to address any concern directly before you contact them.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law or our practices. Material changes will be noted with an updated date at the top of this page. We recommend checking this page periodically. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes your acknowledgement of the revised policy.
